New Year’s Eve Lock-In (Grades 7-12)

posted Dec 17, 2018, 8:31 AM by Kyleigh Lohmeyer

Several teachers and coaches are coming together to offer 7th-12th grade students a

safe, fun alternative on New Year's Eve this year. There will be games, competitions, food, and other activities. Students can enter through the elementary doors between 7-8 p.m. The lock-in ends at 12:30 a.m.

  • Due to supervision and safety concerns, all students must be checked in by 8 p.m. No new students will be allowed into the lock-in after 8.

  • All MS students will have to be signed out between 12 and 12:30 a.m. in order to leave as the lock-in wraps up. No MS students will be allowed out without being signed out by a parent or guardian.

  • HS students will be free to go at 12:30 a.m. If a HS student wants to leave early, contact will be made between one of the sponsors and the student's parents before the student is allowed to go. Any student that leaves early will not be allowed to re-enter.

  • We will be feeding the kids, and there is a need for volunteer help. Please contact Kate Boss (kboss@usd420.org) if you are interested in helping or donating food.

  • All 7th graders are asked to bring a bag of chips to the lock-in, and all 8th graders are asked to bring a package of cookies. All HS students are asked to bring a 2-liter of pop.
