We have ended a very successful 2009-10 school year. A wide variety of media and techniques were offered in Art 1, 2, 3, 4 and Computer Graphics courses. Students have worked very hard on many projects which are displayed in the new 2009-10 Gallery. They have become more proficient in their drawing, painting, printmaking, and ceramics skills, as well as expanded their personal level of expression and creativity.
In the fall Art Club Students painted the "Indian Country" with the new Power Indian on the front of the bleachers at the Football Stadium.
In January we welcomed Hannah Wilson to our art classes. Hannah is a student at Bethany College and she completed her student observation requirements with us. We wish her the best in her future career in Art Education.

Our Annual Open House was on May 12. Parents, friends and community patrons visited school and viewed student artwork that filled the art room and adjacent band room.
As usual, I will miss my seniors - they were a terrific group and showed great leadership in the classroom.
