Flint Hills Junior League Basketball Tournament Update

Gracy Smith and Chase Williams, two STUCO members gave a tour to the Kansas Teacher of the Year nominees yesterday. Their purpose during their visit was to see and hear all of the wonderful things going on at OCHS.
USD 420 will be in session today, Friday, January 12. There will be limited bus transportation due to drifting on county roads. Bus drivers will do their best to pick up students on county roads, but safety will be their first priority.

The high school basketball game from Tuesday, January 9th vs. Chase County has been rescheduled to Thursday, January 25th @ Chase County beginning at 4:30 pm.
Here are the Girls and Boys Brackets for the Flint Hills Junior League Tournament at Council Grove next week. Just a reminder that this will now be a single elimination tournament.
The Flint Hills Junior League Basketball Tournament has been postponed until Monday, January 15, 2024. It will now be a single elimination tournament with first round games on Monday, January 15, 2024 and second and third round games on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Game times for Monday for the girls will be 3:00 pm and the the boys will play at 6:45 pm. Both teams will have practice tonight until 5:00 pm.
The USD 420 School Board January Board meeting will be held tonight at 7:00 PM in the HS media center. You can watch online on the district's YouTube channel.
USD 420 - Osage City Schools will be in-session tomorrow Thursday, January 11th. Morning route bus drivers will be taking their time and breakfast will be available for students if buses do run late. Please stay safe.

Flint Hills Junior League Tournament Update: Round One of the Flint Hills Junior League Basketball Tournament will now be played on Thursday, January 11th at Council Grove. The remainder of the FHJL Basketball Tournament will be determined as we get closer to the end of the week and the Flint Hills Junior League can consider the next round of incoming weather. Thank you for understanding.
Due to inclement weather in the area, USD 420 - Osage City Schools will be dismissing at 12:00 today. Route buses will depart around 12:15. Students will be fed lunch at school today before they are dismissed.
Middle school basketball games for tonight have been postponed.
FHJL Tournament Basketball games tonight have been postponed. We will let you know when they are rescheduled when that information is available.
